June 25, 2020Dear Patients,

We have been back for just over a month now and we are all so excited to see you.

We implemented our phase two of our reopening with our hygiene program and are fully operational within the confines of our new normal.

Some of you already experienced the changes we implemented to protect you and our team, as your safety is our outmost priority. Although we were slightly anxious on how these changes will affect your experience at our office, our team members have adjusted amazingly and are taking pride of our operation and procedures. Moreover, we are certainly overwhelmed by your supportive and positive comments ever since we reopened. Many of you asked questions about the new protocols, the new equipment and the procedures we implemented. We are all excited to share with you details and highlight the extensive measures taken.

We now offer even more flexibility in our hours of operation — offering you appointments on Fridays and extended hours during the week so we can accommodate the high demand and address your oral health needs.

Thank you for your patience and for your support, as we all continue to adjust. We are so happy to be back we cannot stop smiling. We can't wait to see you again.

Stay healthy and safe.

Dr. Ariel Raigrodski, Dr. Heidi Johnson and Team

May 15th, 2020Dear Patient,

We miss you and hope this letter finds you and your family in good health.

We cannot wait to get back to work. We will be reopening our dental office on Tuesday, May 19th, and are looking forward to seeing you.

While many things have changed over the last couple of months, what remained the same is our strong commitment to your health and safety. Sterilization and disinfection at our office has always been a high priority, and we have taken extra measures to ensure we are doing all we can to make your visit safe and comfortable. For additional information please see our email from May 8th, 2020 or visit our website at www.aridentistrynorthwest.com to review the extra measures we have taken in order to protect you.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. The following changes were made to help protect you and our staff:
•  Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. We will ask you to stay in your vehicle when you arrive to the office until we call you to come in. We also ask you to wear a mask when coming to the office.
•  Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask screening questions. You'll be asked the same questions again when you are in the office. We will be taking your temperature and oxygen level reading when arriving.
•  We have hand sanitizer for you to use when you enter the office.

In addition, our office will be opening in phases. In phase one our Doctors will be seeing patients for urgent needs and restorative care. In phase two we will add our hygienists to see patients for preventative hygiene appointments.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Our office will have team members in the office Monday through Friday to assist you with scheduling or any questions you may have.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back.

May 7th, 2020Dear Patient,

Our team, Dr. Johnson, and I are looking forward to seeing you soon and would like to share with you our new policies.

Our Disinfecting Policies to Protect You from Coronavirus:

We have always made sterilization and disinfection of our office a priority. That in itself protects you from possible disease transmission during this outbreak as well as any viral season. However, we have been taking extra steps to ensure we are protecting your health and our team members health like no other. Here are the policies that we have in place:
1.  At the beginning of the day we are all taking our own temperatures with a touchless thermometer. We are rinsing our mouth with an antiviral agent and putting on PPE.
2.  Please arrive to the office with wearing a mask. We will take your temperature.
3.  We are asking every patient to wash his or her hands in our presence in the treatment room. That is for at least 20 seconds using soap and water.
4.  Our staff and doctors wash their hands in the presence of the patient at the beginning of every visit.
5.  We will have you rinse with an antiviral agent.
6.  We installed a new high VAC suction system to reduce aerosol droplets at the office.
7.  We also added top of the line air purifiers (with UV-C light, HEPA filter, Active carbon filter, and Ionizer) for further filtration.
8.  We will use a safe, non-toxic, organic and environmentally friendly spray disinfectant to spray with a fogger around the office.
9.  As always, our team members will all be wearing gowns, new gloves and masks, face shields and head caps.
10.  We are cleaning our instruments in two areas after treatment. One is by the assistants in the treatment room. The second is by our sterilization assistant in the sterilization room.
11.  We are disinfecting all common areas such as door handles, knobs, public surfaces both in the treatment rooms and the reception room and front desk area, bathroom faucets, toilet handles, seats, etc. on a frequent basis throughout the day.
12.  We cover all surfaces, hoses, and electronics with plastic wrap. The plastic wrap is changed between patients.
13.  We encourage you as well as our staff to avoid touching our faces.
14.  If you are ill, please reschedule your appointment with us. We are sending any patient or staff member home who has symptoms of illness.

I would like to reemphasize that your health and safety is our primary goal. We are happy to answer any questions regarding our disinfection and sterilization policies.

Social distancing is of outmost importance to protect you all. Therefore, we have reduced the number of patients we see at the office at a time and extended our working ours to evenings and Fridays. Our staff will contact you with regards to our new patient checking protocol.

Our team and I cannot wait to see you and look forward to making your visits to our office safe, comfortable, and valuable.

Stay healthy and safe.

April 16th, 2020Dear Patient,

I wanted to personally reach out to you. Our team and I are thinking of you and hope that you are staying healthy and safe.

These are truly strange and challenging times for all of us. Each and every one of us is facing a wide array of challenges never experienced before in our lifetime at a personal, community, national and global level. However, as this country showed throughout its history, we shall overcome and prevail.

Keeping your safety and wellbeing as our top priority, we are constantly learning and adjusting our infection control and patient care protocols as they continue to evolve by the CDC, the American Dental Association, and the Washington State Department of Health.

I wanted you to rest assured that we will be ready to take care of your dental health and needs when we are back at our dental office managing a "New Normal." We will be trained and ready to provide you with the safest and healthiest environment for dental care, continuing to provide you with nothing less than excellent care in every way.

In the meanwhile, you may reach us via our answering service to manage any dental emergencies you may have, and we will take care of you as needed. We are here for you and for your families.

Until then, I want you to know that we all miss you and cannot wait to see you all soon.

Stay healthy and safe.

Sincerely,
Ariel J. Raigrodski DMD, MS, FACP
